Just like in the imagine topic, I posted this topic so that people could talk about the aftermath of the latest hurricanr disaster. Imagine if you will, Losing some of your friends, loved ones, your job(s), and everything that you knew exsisted, Your house, everything. What if you had no more family? What if you didn't have any more funds? Where would you go? What would you do? The government can only do so much, They rely on you to take up the rest of the slack. So just think of it as a worst case scenario, What do you think action wise the United States government should do in the aftermath of Katrina?

i dont have a TV set, because i dont watch TV.....
But what i saw of it (the hurricane), pist me off terribly.......but, what can ya do???
I saw (at my moms house) the beginning of it all when the guy said "if there was a .6 hurricane this would be it" ...and the people TRYing to evacuate..
i was thinking if it really was going to be THAT bad... then why in the hell werent ALL roads, people, planes, trains, cars, EVERYTHING getting the hell out of there....
streets were like parking lots one lane going out....
open up EVERYTHING to go one way....OUT!!
and EVERYBODY getting prepared for it....
The worst was, 4 days later i was at a friends house and i couldnt believe what i was seeing ....
i could not believe that i was watching, here in America, people with everything all around them distroyed....a news guy on national TV, and all they were asking for, STILL, was fucking WATER!!!
then of course learning and watching all the other horrible things, wasnt so pleasent, but my God!!!
ya know! what can you do??
welp!... i've got to get ready for work so i dont lose my job, while i've still got a job....
right!?

I happened upon a website this morning, early this morning mind ya, that had nothing but pics of the dead bodies floating everywhere, very disturbing.
I wish I hadn't wandered so far that I found it. Its one of those things that just sticks in your mind and you wish you could forget it....and there was one body that someone had tied to a telephone pole, where's he going to go? ain't like he could of went far?
Don't get me wrong, I do feel for those folks, but by shiot I think if its coming and its the size of Texas, I highly doubt I'd be hanging around to see if its gonna shift...mother nature and here she comes again....and we still have a couple more months to go til the hurrrrrrseason is over.
Hi mel, *slobbery smooch*. You are missed.
